Central Transport, LLC, a leader in LTL (less-than-truckload) transportation for more than 90 years is currently seeking a Sales Support Representative for our Corporate Office in Warren, MI. This role is a critical position in supporting our in-house Sales Representatives of our organization. Our representatives are provided with in depth training to provide continuous skill and internal career enhancement based on performance and work ethic.
Job details and Responsibilities:
· Assisting 3pl sales executives daily via email or phone call
· Able to assist customer directly when contacted or when requested by sales rep
· Pulling and filtering daily/weekly reports and sending to customer direct
· Assisting with having SLC agreements completed
· Updating internal inventory sheet to keep record of customers who receive & the pro ranges sent to them
· Account set up/deletion
· Submitting pricing requests for Bids for national account executives
· Helping in shared Sales Support email with local sales support team to assist with customer/internal requests
· Scanning in trailer manifests daily
· Assisting in onboarding accounts for national sales executives
· Getting on onboarding calls for new accounts for the 3pl sales reps when requested
· Reviewing certain accounts that have been newly onboarded to report any issues/ensure smooth start up
· Analyzing data in our system to ensure entered correctly
· Analyzing existing accounts requested to be put on a Watch list by RDS/VP Sales
Skills
· Previous experience within the logistics field preferred but not required
· Detail oriented and well organized
· Ability to multitask and work independently
· Strong analytical and communication skills
· Ability to manage daily workflow
